Renewable Energy Integration in Power Markets

Course Objective: This course is intended to provide the students necessary skills and knowledge to understand the integration of renewable energy in the power markets. The course will elaborate on key technical and economic considerations for RE integration, forecasting and scheduling of RE generation, different market mechanisms for RE integration, energy storage for market integration of RE, cross-border RE trading and ends with case studies of successful regional integration.
