Power Market Planning & Governance

Course Objective: This course is intended to provide the students necessary skills and knowledge to understand power market planning and governance. The course will elaborate on the key structures, policies and regulatory framework, different market models, market performance indicators and benchmarks, investment signals for new generation and transmission, and cost allocation practices internationally. The lessons learnt globally will also be highlighted for the way forward to scaling up renewable energy in the South Asian Region.
